Having lived in Charlotte for almost 35 years, it has been exciting to see the continual changes and explosive growth that the Queen City has experienced. I moved to Charlotte in 1992 to attend UNC Charlotte, and to say that things have changed quite a bit since then would be an enormous understatement.
I have always been an adventurous type, and exploring Charlotte's many neighborhoods and surrounding areas has been a passion of mine since first moving to the city. Having grown up on construction sites while often going to work with my father, a commercial real estate developer, or with my grandfather, who owned a real estate firm in Virginia Beach, or now with my husband, who owns a construction company, real estate is part of my DNA. It is a beautiful thing and a true gift when you can make a career out of what you are most passionate about. That is exactly what I have been able to do with real estate, and I could not be happier or feel more fortunate.
